Artist Alley - For Artists

Haru Fest's Artist Alley is a very loose affair. We want to promote artistic talent, and we don't want to stifle it with a bunch of controls and rules. If you want to come to Haru Fest to be an artist and sell your work, you should arrive at W.P. Wagner between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. so we can get you set up. You must bring all your own supplies, because Haru Fest can not provide pencils, inking pens, paper, or markers due to our low budget.

We do not charge for tables, as we feel it wrong to charge for space we are not paying for ourselves. Therefore, any profit made in Haru Fest is entirely yours to keep. While we do not as for a cut, if you should wish to donate a portion of what you made towards keeping the festival going for next year, it would be much appreciated.

Artist Alley - For Patrons

As we do not control or monitor the artist in any way, any purchases at the artist alley will be your own responsibility. At this time we are not screening artists, so anyone who comes in wanting to sell has the opportunity to do so. Consequently, it is suggested that you do not buy art that is not present on the day of the festival unless you know the artist is trustworthy (ie. you have bought from them before, or know someone who has).

While we hope there will be no one looking to cheat others in the Artist Alley, we ask that you be careful and be aware that Haru Fest will not be liable if you take a risk that doesn't pan out.
